Builders Cleans

Windows / Doors Internal & External

  • All tape and shrink wrapping removed
  • All paint, mastic, protective paper and any other material completely removed
  • All labels removed from glass
  • Windows and doors carefully washed and soaked to enable cement and grit particles to be removed
  • All windows and doors opened, with recesses vacuumed and cleaned
  • Glass cleaned and smears removed

Electrical Fittings

  • All decoration products and any other marks removed from light fittings, switches, sockets and any other electrical fittings
  • Boiler casing and airing cupboard cleaned
  • All radiators (including valves) fully cleaned

Stairs / Floors / Wall areas

  • Stairs to be scraped of any mud / plaster and left free from any residual materials, vacuumed thoroughly and mopped
  • Areas between balusters and spindles fully cleaned
  • All protective floor covering and tape removed
  • Screeded / concrete areas scraped of any mud, plaster cement etc / swept thoroughly and vacuumed
  • Vinyl, tiled and wooden floor areas cleaned of mud, vacuumed and mopped using applicable cleaning products to ensure no smearing
  • Spot cleaned by removing all dirt / dust marks from walls

Glossed / Stained Woodwork / Ironmongery

  • All internal door frames, skirting boards, window boards and frames cleaned ensuring all dust and any marks are removed

  • All units vacuumed and fully cleaned inside and out (including rails and mirrors)

Kitchen / Utility Areas

  • All kitchen units cleaned inside and out (including top of cupboards)

  • All paint spots removed
  • All protective coverings and Sellotape removed

Bathrooms / En-suites / WC

  • Sanitaryware soaked and all labels removed
  • All paint and plaster removed from sanitaryware
  • All packaging removed from baths, shower trays, taps and shower fittings, followed by clean and polish
  • Ceramic wall tiling washing down, excessive grout / tile adhesive removed

External

  • Meter boxes wiped down
  • External balustrade and porch entrance wiped down (if applicable)
  • Fascias, soffits, external lighting and rainwater goods cleaned
  • Doors, frames and any other external woodwork cleaned
  • Garage floor swept

  • All waste and rubbish removed from house / garage and disposed of in accordance with site regulations

The objective of a sparkle clean is to leave the new property in an immaculate and pristine condition to impress the customer with their new home. This clean is normally carried out as near to completion day as possible All areas checked and re-cleaned in line with the re-clean specification Plug-in air fresheners placed throughout the property Internal / external windows as per re-clean specification

Internal

Our cleaning service ensures every space is left spotless and refreshed. Woodwork, fittings and surfaces are carefully dusted and polished, while sanitary ware, taps, showers, tiles and toilets are cleaned, disinfected and left gleaming. Kitchens are given a thorough clean, including cupboards, drawers, worktops, sinks and appliances, and bedrooms are tidied with wardrobes, bedding and surfaces attended to. Upholstery is vacuumed or treated with the right products, and all floors, whether tiled, vinyl or carpeted, are cleaned and refreshed. Internal windows and frames are left streak free, and any issues are reported promptly to the sales team. For an extra touch of freshness, plug-in air fresheners can also be supplied on request.

Reach & Wash Cleaning System

  • Window cleaning is a specialist area for A & B Cleaning Services. We employ the High Reach and Wash window cleaning method with water-fed poles to deliver 100% pure water directly to the window. The pure water dries to a perfect finish. In fact, the windows aren’t just clean, they’re left totally sterile. And as no chemicals or detergents are used, the whole process is environmentally-friendly. It also means that the cleaned window stays cleaner for longer
  • The use of a pole allows the operative to remain on the ground, which is much safer and in line with HSE proposals

Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery Cleaning

Reach & Wash Cleaning System

PRE-SPOT TREATMENT

  • Any stains and heavily soiled areas are treated with appropriate cleaning products for each individual stain to maximise results.

PRE CONDITION

  • A precondition agent is applied to the carpet to emulsify and break down soiled areas for best cleaning results.

AGITATION

  • A specialised machine is used to loosen dirt and dust from your carpet.

EXTRACTION/ RINSE WITH NEUTRALISER

  • The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with our powerful extraction machine using an acidic rinse agent to restore the carpets P.H. level. This to avoid colour fade and any sticky residue.

FURNITURE PROTECTION TABS

  • Any furniture that has been moved during the cleaning process will be replaced and protective tabs will be placed under the legs to prevent any colour transfer from furniture to carpet. Leave for 24 hours.

FINAL INSPECTION

  • The customer will be asked to check all areas cleaned to ensure they are completely satisfied.
